It's not only around the final delivery date for Longhorn where Microsoft is doing some fancy dancing. The Professional Developer Conference (PDC) presenters in Los Angeles are avoiding studiously pinning final delivery dates on the Yukon version of SQL Server and the Whidbey release of Visual Studio. Until recently, Microsoft was maintaining that both of these product would ship by the end of calendar 2004. Is the Yukon wave receding toward 2005?
