Ouch! .Net Framework 2.0 Breaks Apps

Sounds like Microsoft has run into a brick wall, in terms of getting applications written to the .Net Framework 1.1 to work with .Net Framework 2.0, the forthcoming release of Microsoft's programming infrastructure. The .Net Framework 2.0 is slated to ship first with Visual Studio 2005, due out later this year. Developers working with the Beta 2 release of Microsoft's tool suite have been on the front lines of discovering backward-compatibility problems, which Microsoft is attempting to address.
