Microsoft Takes a New Tack With XP Starter Edition

From Microsoft Watch: Microsoft on Tuesday launched a new version of XP Starter Edition. This time, instead of optimizing it for a particular country, as it has done with the six previous Starter releases, Microsoft created a blanket Spanish-language edition that it is aiming at a number of countries in Latin America, starting with Mexico and Argentina. It'll be quicker for Microsoft to introduce stripped-down Windows releases across the globe if it takes this approach, rather than aiming at one country at a time.
