As expected, Microsoft released a new post-Beta-1 Windows Vista build at the Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Microsoft has dubbed that build, number 5219, as its first Community Technology Preview (CTP) build for Windows client. Microsoft officially launched its CTP program for Windows here at the show today. Expect regular, interim builds of Vista, akin to the kinds of interim builds that Microsoft has made available to Visual Studio and SQL Server testers for more than a year now.
