Mr. Shared Source, Jason Matusow, announced on his blog on Wednesday the rollout of a new Shared Source project at Microsoft. The new project is the first Shared Source entry from the Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) team. MBS is making available the source code for its Business Portal Lite technology, a product that allows multiple browsers to be used as thin clients connecting back to the Microsoft Business Solutions Portal Server and the Solomon ERP system. Matusow called the MBS Shared Source release "another great example that there are lessons to be learned from the OSS (open-source software) dev/business models."
