Microsoft 'Fremont': Redmond's GoogleBase Killer

We asked yesterday if anyone knew the code name for yet another Windows Live service we figured Microsoft must be readying. One day later, our curiosity was satisfied. Microsoft is planning to begin public testing shortly of its GoogleBase killer, a technology code-named "Fremont." Fremont is currently in limited and private testing among Microsoft employees. |
