Microsoft has been doling out software galore at the Los Angeles Professional Developers Conference this week. The "goods" include everything from the first Community Technology Preview (CTP) build of Windows Vista, to the first release candidate of Visual Studio 2005. On Thursday, Microsoft went public with one more give-away being distributed to attendees of the show: A CTP build of Longhorn Server. So it seems Microsoft now has not only a newly minted Vista CTP program, but a complementary Longhorn Server one as well.
