Windows Live Messenger Beta Due Tuesday



From Microsoft Watch: Beta testers are slated to get the first Windows Live Messenger beta bits on Tuesday, according to industry scuttlebutt. Windows Live Messenger is the new name for MSN Messenger. The latest release is expected to include additional VOIP support, among other new features. MCI will be (at least one of) Microsoft's VOIP partner for the new instant-messaging release, sources say.
