From Microsoft Watch: Testers who are finally managing to beg, borrow or download the freshly minted Windows Vista Beta 2 bits are reporting in. Testers are finding the latest Vista test build still has some driver and app-compatibility issues, and are hitting other random snags, as well. Will problems with the Beta 2 build be enough to push the product launch back? The jury's still out on that one.

i wonder how did the version became beta from alpha.. seems it would have been better to have myriad alpha series before jumping into beta series and facing such uncertainities. Seems microsoft will have to come up with a new 'greek lettered testing version' to save its face . the alpha and beta testing will not be enough and in that case a new addition to the testing dictionary will be a great help for microsoft ;)
