Giant Company Software, Microsoft's anti-spyware acquisition target, is no household name. Giant's products include Spam Inspector, Popup Inspector, and Giant AntiSpyware, according to the company's Web site (which seemingly has been colonized by Microsoft already.) But who knew anything about GeCAD when Microsoft bought the privately held anti-virus vendor back in June 2003? |
