Another 4,000 to 5,000 Job Openings at MSFT

Microsoft announced today that it is planning to hire another 4,000 to 5,000 people in the coming fiscal year. It's interesting, given Microsoft's recent moves to outsource a good amount of its product support services to India, that 3,000 to 3,500 of these new jobs will be based in the U.S. Microsoft also announced it plans to grow its R&D spending by eight percent, or up to $6.9 billion, in FY 2004, too. |
