Trying to get your Xbox Live on? Unfortunately, today is just not looking like your day. Reported over on Bink.nu, Microsoft has completely shut down its Xbox Live console gaming service today, in order to make adjustments for the upcoming Xbox 360 launch. One of the biggest changes will be the addition of a new area called "My Xbox" where every player's special accomplishments in every Xbox game will be attached to their personal gamer card, and visible to other players. Additional changes include a new Xbox Live Marketplace area. Xbox Live will resume full services on Tuesday. Xbox 360's US launch date is November 22nd.
