"Fremont," Microsoft's alternative to Google's Google Base service, now has an official name. "Windows Live Expo," according to new information posted to Microsoft's Windows Live Ideas site, is a combination of an online marketplace and a social networking site. Microsoft is integrating instant messaging (Windows Live Messenger) and MSN Spaces blogging capabilities directly into Windows Live Expo, so users will be able to communicate with their contacts in real time. The beta for Live Expo has not yet begun.
