Gartner Questions Windows Mobile 5.0 Security

Microsoft is touting a new Windows Mobile 5.0 feature pack, due this fall, as key to its strategy to enable push-email using Exchange. But Gartner analysts are warning that the mobility feature pack, does "not go far enough with security for enterprise-wide deployment." Gartner is recommending that businesses use third-party vendor security add-ons to make Windows suitable for mobile use. Microsoft is refuting Gartner's findings. |
