Gates Says Microsoft Will Tackle Spyware

Microsoft has made no bones about the fact that it's planning to muscle in on the antivirus market. But company officials had not said explicitly that Microsoft also was planning an attack on the spyware plague. But last week, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates broke the spyware silence and committed the company to helping solve the problem. He didn't say how or when, though. |
