Get Ready for a Windows Fall
|
Microsoft is planning a big fall, Windows marketing-wise. Sounds like XP SP2 and the Tablet PC "Lonestar" release will be launched in September as part of a "Protect Your PC" campaign. And a slew of other Windows products ranging from the "Symphony" version of XP Media Center, to the new 64-bit version of Windows XP will go live in October. That's according to Tom Button, the VP in charge of Windows product marketing, who spoke at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) on Tuesday afternoon. |
