How Many Vista Versions Will There Be?

Microsoft is not expected to use this week's Professional Developers Conference (PDC) to announce its packaging strategy for Windows Vista. (Usually, Microsoft waits until right before its product rollouts to announce its planned SKUs.) However, according to one report, Microsoft has seven Windows Vista SKUs waiting in the wings. According to another, Microsoft could be readying as many as 20 SKUs. We hear that nothing's been decided yet. |
