It's Official: Vista Beta 1 Goes Live

Maybe Microsoft decided to go live with Beta 1 of Windows Vista a week earlier than planned just so it could say it delivered a version of Windows early instead of late. Or maybe company officials wanted to give the Wall Street analysts attending Thursday's annual Microsoft financial analyst meeting something to talk about. Whatever the real reason, Microsoft started rolling out on Wednesday the Vista Beta 1 bits to 20,000 testers. |
