Longhorn, IE 7 Beta Invites Going Out

We're not expecting to see Beta 1 code for a few weeks yet. But various sites are reporting that Microsoft has sent out to testers invitations to participate in Longhorn client Beta 1, Longhorn Server Beta 1 and Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 1. Our sources have told us Microsoft is trying to deliver Beta 1 for all three products around the same time. An August D-day for Longhorn Beta 1 would be a nice coincidence, given that Microsoft launched Windows 95 ten years ago this August. |
