Microsoft is extending the beta program for its Windows OneCare subscription service to the general public. Interested parties can go to http://beta.microsoft.com/, sign in with their Microsoft® Passport Network credentials, type in OneCare (case sensitive) when prompted for the guest ID, and follow the instructions from there. Windows OneCare is Microsoft's forthcoming hosted security service, comprised of firewall, antivirus, antispyware and data-backup functionality.
