Microsoft 'Innovatively Integrating' Office With Third-Party Apps
|
Last year, we heard about Microsoft's "Project Elixir," intended to make Outlook a front-end to Siebel CRM on the back end. Now Microsoft is looking to make Office a front-end to SAP's business-process platform on the back-end. The integrated Microsoft-SAP solution, code-named "Mendocino," is due to go to beta by the end of this year. Mendocino will be sold by both Microsoft and SAP, according to the two companies. |
