Call it the case of the disappearing frequently-asked-questions document. Thursday afternoon, we saw with our own eyes a document on the Microsoft Web site that stated Microsoft CRM 3.0 would be released to manufacturing in the first quarter of next year. Later, that document mysteriously disappeared. Later that evening, Microsoft officials insisted that CRM 3.0 is on track to RTM in the next 60 days "if all goes well." A new broadscale beta of CRM 3.0 went out this week, Microsoft execs acknowledged. The new release features tighter Office and SQL Server Reporting Services integration, among other features.
