Microsoft Reaches Out to Open-Source Advocates

Even though Microsoft has open-sourced a few of its own technologies over the past year, few would consider the Redmond software vendor a friend of open source. But it sounds like the Redmondians are now going a step further, offering to sit down at the table with open-source vendors to discuss how the two camps can work better together. Is Microsoft sincere? Time will tell. |
