Microsoft, SAP Prep 'Mendocino' 1.0 and 2.0

Microsoft and SAP say they are on track with "Mendocino," the technology that will connect Microsoft Office on the front end to mySAP on the back end. Later this month, 40 customers and 10 partners are slated to get an early version of the Mendocino 1.0 code. The final release of the 1.0 code is slated for July 2006. The 2.0 release, slated to add more time-management, employee-self-service and various line-of-business capabilities, is set to hit in July 2007, company officials say. |
