From Microsoft Watch: Microsoft's Services for Unix (SFU) product is a Unix environment designed to run on top of Windows. We knew Microsoft had plans to fold a bunch of the SFU technology into Windows Server 2003 R2. But we didn't realize the Redmondians were shelving the standalone version of the SFU product, with no plans to do future enhancements. Until this week. |
