Microsoft Talks Longhorn Server R2, Blackcomb

A first beta of Longhorn Server (due out in 2007) isn't due out until later this summer. But that isn't stopping Windows Server honcho Bob Muglia from talking about the follow-ons to that product. Check out in this eWEEK.com story what Muglia had to say about Longhorn Server R2 (2009?) and Blackcomb (2011?). Muglia also mentions a code name we hadn't heard before: "Crimson." Crimson is a new error log that is due to be part of Longhorn Server.
