More details regarding Microsoft's vertical sales push are coming to light. Simon Witts, corporate vice president of Microsoft's enterprise and partner group, told eWEEK.com: "We've actually grown our [enterprise group] sales force by 60 percent over the last five years and I think we could grow it another 60 percent in the next five years. We have also been growing our on-site services team by 16 percent compound annually and we will continue to do that, so we can get to 23,000 people inside the enterprise in the next five years."
