The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is now re-examining the Web-browser patent upon which Microsoft allegedly infringed with its ActiveX technology (and for which a jury awarded Eolas $521 million). On Oct. 30, after the W3C weighed in on the side of Microsoft, the patent office opted to take another look at the matter. |
