Microsoft moved to a new search engine on its home site a couple of months ago. Has anyone other than me noticed that it is so much worse than its predecessor? The new Microsoft.com search returns next-to-no relevant results. (These days, I search Microsoft's site with Google.) But with all the different search engines under development at Microsoft — including the one in SharePoint Portal Server, the one that will be built into Longhorn, the technology at the heart of MSNBot — you would think the company that wants to out-google Google would be able to find something that works.
