A fluke? Yet another foray into open source licensing? (This time under the Apache license, rather than the Common Public License, under which it released a couple of Microsoft technologies earlier this year.) Microsoft isn't talking about the fact that Lookout's open-source search engine is covered — at least for the time being — by the Apache open-source license. It'll be interesting to see what Microsoft does on the licensing front with its newest acquisition.
