More on the 'Other' Microsoft Search Tool
|
All Microsoft watchers' eyes last week were on the latest MSN Search beta that Microsoft launched on Thursday. But there's another Microsoft search tool in the works: MSN Desktop Search. Expected to launch in December, the desktop search service will be a derivative of Lookout Software's product, which Microsoft acquired earlier this year. The folks over at Neowin have a more in-depth look (with screenshots) as to what to expect on the desktop-search side of the MSN house. |

It seems that if you do not co-operate with all Microsofts updates and intallations, they hit you where it hurts most. I declined and my hotmail account, internet options and browser toolbar became inaccessible. It cost me my job.
Good advice, theyr'e in control - if you are prompted - just co-operate!
Good Luck for the future in the hands of greedy control freaks.

I have to humbly apologise to Microsoft...
Their support guy phoned me and enquired about the problem, spent 3 hours on the phone to solve it and still phone in once a day to find out how I am doing!
In the end it turned out that 'intermittent internet connectivity' was the cause of the hassles. The 3G service provider and not Microsoft.
Anyway, they may have may shortcomings which I'm not in favour of but this time theyr'e innocent.
Sorry Microsoft!
