MSN Extends Deal With Overture

MSN and its paid-search partner Overture have inked a deal that extends their partnership through 2004 in a handful of countries — the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan and South Korea. The deal also will include, later in the year, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and "certain Scandinavian markets." Some had speculated that MSN would cut its ties with Overture, now that it is moving more aggressively into the search area itself. |
