MSN to Begin Charging for Hotmail Wireless Access

As part of its quest for profitability, Microsoft's MSN unit is continuing its strategy to convert users used to getting services for free into paying customers. As of December 3, wireless access to Hotmail will go from free to $19.99 a year. MSN has slowly but surely been switching formerly free services, such as MSN Photo and MSN Calendar, to paid ones. |
