No Built-In Virtualization Capabilities in Longhorn Server

As with Monad, it sounds like built-in hypervisor and virtualization stack technologies will not make it into Longhorn Server, due to ship in 2007. Microsoft is hedging whether it will deliver these capabilities as an add-on, or wait until the next version of Longhorn Server, which would be Longhorn Server R2, currently slated for 2009. |
