R2 Version of Microsoft Speech Server Debuts

The first of what is shaping up to be an entire family of "R2" releases of Windows Server System products made its debut on Monday. The Microsoft Speech Server 2004 R2 release is out. Sounds like support for more languages and new speech recognition and text-to-speech engines are the key new deliverables in the R2 release. Windows Server 2003 R2 isn't due out until the end of this year. |
