Sounds Like XP SP2 Finally Is Done

All signs are pointing to the long-awaited XP Service Pack 2 going gold in the next 24 hours. NeoWin has published a timetable claiming that Microsoft will release to manufacturing the SP2 bits on August 5, post the bits on the Web on August 10, and push them out to users via Windows Update on August 24. No word yet on when Microsoft will make SP2 available on CD, however. |
