From Microsoft Watch: It's definitely news when Microsoft is running ahead of schedule with anything Windows-related. So it caught us by surprise that Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), the forthcoming Windows workflow technology that Microsoft is building into a host of other products, is looking likely to debut in 2006 with Vista, instead of 2007, instead of as part of Longhorn Server. Microsoft also is back-porting WWF to older Windows versions, like it is doing with the other next-gen Windows pillars.
