Folks are talking about the New York Times report that alleges Microsoft is interested in buying Google. The Times story says that Microsoft approached Google within the past couple of months. But this is hardly the first time that Microsoft and Google have talked take-over. Back in June, sounds like similar discussions between the two occurred. None of this is too surprising, given Microsoft's focus on search with Longhorn — as well as its lackluster search efforts to date.
