Whatever Happened to MOOL?

A quick update on Microsoft Office Outlook Live (MOOL), the new Hotmail-based subscription service from MSN. A number of Microsoft-enthusiast sites predicted that MOOL would be part of MSN's (not-so-secret) desktop-search announcement on Monday. But MSN executives never mentioned MOOL. Regardless of the lack of a formal announcement, MOOL is now in beta and should be unveiled officially in early 2005, Microsoft execs said. |
