What's the Link Between 'Acrylic' and 'Avalon'?
|
Speaking of Community Technology Previews (CTPs), Microsoft on Monday took the wraps off its second pre-beta CTP build of its professional graphics program, code-named "Acrylic." With Acrylic, graphics pros will be able to design applications that will make use of the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), better known as "Avalon" on both Windows XP and Windows Vista systems. We're expecting Microsoft will make Acrylic available under the "Expressions Studio" brand name, most likely some time in 2006. |
