Microsoft has yet to discuss publicly its distribution and pricing plans for its anti-spyware and anti-virus offerings. But industry watchers say they expect the company to bundle at least some pieces of its malware-fighting technologies into Windows Vista and its successors. Will government regulators try to stop the Softies from doing so, in the name of fostering greater industry competition? And would such a move benefit or harm consumers?
