Windows MetaFile Exploit Gaining Traction

That "extremely critical" Windows Metafile exploit identified Wednesday seems to be picking up steam. Microsoft has issued a security advisory on the graphics-engine vulnerability. And there are thousands of sites distributing the exploit code from a site called iFrameCASH BUSINESS. These sites are distributing spyware and other unwanted software and replacing users' desktop backgrounds with a message that warns of spyware infection. |
