Windows Server 2003 R2: Next Stop Is RTM

Microsoft released to testers on Monday the Release Candidate (RC) 1 version of Windows Server 2003 R2. No new features have been added or deleted since Microsoft delivered RC0 to testers in late August, according to company brass. Microsoft officials said RC1 will be the final beta release of Microsoft's next-gen server. Next stop: Release to manufacturing (RTM). We're hearing the final product launch will happen in December. |
