From Microsoft Watch: When we said Microsoft was set to release the WinFS Beta 1 bits soon, we had no idea how right we were. On Monday, Microsoft made WinFS Beta 1 available for download by MSDN subscribers. Attendees of the upcoming Professional Developers Conference (PDC) are slated to get WinFS Beta 1, too. The bits run on Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed, not on Vista. |
