With all due respect, that is the stupedist advice I've ever heard !What good will manual prompts do ?Users still won't know whether the patch(es) is/are damaging until after it/they have been installed.Do MS actually expect companies to employ people to read every single detail of patch disclosure ?Gimme' a break !The root cause of this problem as usual is Microsoft's own "bullish" "we want what we want and we want it yesterday" behaviour and to hell with everyone else (otherwise known as Capitalism). Ask Eolas. As usual it's their customers who end up paying for their past transgressions.Solution - wish to God I knew. Other than MS changing their ways (never happen).
