Microsoft Ships IE 6 Update

Microsoft on Tuesday posted a non-security-specific update to Internet Explorer (IE) 6. While the Redmondians didn't advertise it as such, the new bits are a direct result of the multimillion-dollar patent spat with Eolas Technologies. The update modifies the way that IE handles ActiveX controls.
