Windows Live Image Search Beta Now Live, Too

Lost in this week's Windows Live Search unveiling was yet another new Microsoft service, known as Windows Live Image Search. Live Image Search seems to be a subset of Live Search, from what we can tell. Akin, at least in concept, to Google Images, Live Image Search allows users to scroll through images on their PC, click to preview, and then continue scrolling if they didn't find the desired image. Ironically, testers are reporting that Image Search works with Firefox and Internet Explorer 6, but not the beta of Internet Explorer 7. Like just about all of Microsoft's Live services, Windows Live Image Search is in beta with a final release slated for mid-year.
